Description:
The Neon Tetra is one of the most stunning and well-loved freshwater aquarium fish. With a bright blue back, silver-white belly, and a glowing red stripe that runs along its lower body, this tiny fish brings a vibrant splash of color to any tank. Known for their peaceful temperament and active schooling behavior, Neon Tetras are ideal for both beginner and experienced aquarists. They remain small, growing only up to about 2 inches, making them a perfect fit for smaller aquariums.
These fish thrive in well-cycled tanks with stable water conditions and enjoy densely planted setups that provide hiding spots and shaded areas. Keeping them in groups of six or more not only helps them feel secure but also creates a stunning visual display as they swim together in unison.
